...our 2007 Proprietor's Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon! "Forest floor scents of redwoods and mushrooms lend complexity to this savory Cabernet," editors of Wine & Spirits magazine say in rating the wine in the December 2010 issue. "The texture is rich, the fruit plummy and cool." Editors also picked the $29 Cab as a "Best Buy," and note that it's "a gentle red to pour with roasted lamb."
The Wine & Spirits recognition is just the latest for the '07 Proprietor's Reserve Cab. Crafted from Dry Creek Valley floor Cab and Syrah, the wine also has snagged Double Gold Medals at the 2010 West Coast Wine Competition and 2010 Tasters Guild International Wine Competition. Judges at the recent 2010 Sonoma County Harvest Fair also bestowed a Gold Medal on the release, among the most popular in our Proprietor's Reserve line.
