GOLD - 2013 SAN FRANCISCO CHRONICLE WINE COMPETITION
PLATINUM - 2013 SAN DIEGO INTL. WINE COMPETITION
This wine has a beautiful golden straw color that is really quite appealing. On the nose are scents of pear and apple pie. While there is a pretty framing of barrel influence on the nose and palate, it is not at all dominant. The nose is bright and alive with fruit. On the palate there is also a lovely richness that fills your mouth. The wonderful acidity keeps the wine richness in check. The wine finishes elegantly and is perfectly balanced.
Straw in color hue. The aromas are rich and luscious scents of sweet cream butter, white pear with hints of liche tropical fruit. In the mouth are round sweet flavors of star fruit and green apple. The finish is long, lingering and yummy. Perfect for a cheese plate.
DOUBLE GOLD - 2013 SAN FRANCISCO CHRONICLE WINE COMPETITION WINNER
Light yellow and pale straw in color, this wine’s aromas are Burgundian in nature. With scents of lemon Crème Brule, there is also a wonderful mineral aspect to this wine. On the palate, there is a sweetness interwoven with balanced acidity.
