Intermixed in the vineyard with Petite Sirah, Carignane and Mataro. The goal was to create a wine that was definably Zinfandel, but with the added nuances that the other varietals lend. The color of our 2011Bernier Sibary Zinfandel is dark, black-purple-red in hue. It is a very dense wine in appearance, followed with equal density in its aromas and flavors. In the nose are aromas of black fruits, raspberries and a hint of earth. This wine is incredibly elegant, but is also a complex in its aromas. On the palate the flavors are long and satisfying.

This wine is simply delightful. Rich aromas of dense blackberry and cherry greet the nose. The fruit is vibrant and framed beautifully by some subtle vanilla hints and oak influence. A brightness persists through the entire profile of this wine and causes the fruit to remain alive on the palate. The finish is defined by a lingering velvet softness.

This wine is a big boy while still being very full of life and youthful potential. Dark fruited aromas of cherry, smoke and plum entice your nose building anticipation. At first sip, you're greeted with coffee, hints of toffee and bursting Cabernet classic fruits. Fully textured with a long lingering finish.

This wine has a beautiful golden straw color that is really quite appealing. On the nose are scents of pear and apple pie. While there is a pretty framing of barrel influence on the nose and palate, it is not at all dominant. The nose is bright and alive with fruit. On the palate there is also a lovely richness that fills your mouth. The wonderful acidity keeps the wine richness in check. The wine finishes elegantly and is perfectly balanced.

Our one and only dessert wne varies from vintage to vintage. The winemaking team knows they are making Port during certain vintage and they are left to decided the varietal. Zinfandel is the grape varietal for the wine which is fortified with high proof Brandy.The winemakers sit back and try to be patient while it ages for more than 3 years. Now we can better understand that this is one to for opening when you need to feel a little extra special.
