The 2009 vintage took a little longer in the bottle to show itself but it is well worth the wait. Classic stone fruits, blackberry and white pepper jump out and almost dance on the palate. Hard to keep the smile off of Kerry’s face as it has been giving him goosebumps the last few times he has enjoyed a glass.
 

Straw in color hue. The aromas are rich and luscious scents of sweet cream butter, white pear with hints of liche tropical fruit. In the mouth are round sweet flavors of star fruit and green apple. The finish is long, lingering and yummy. Perfect for a cheese plate.

This is a very pretty wine on several levels. It has great color density and depth. The Petite Sirah dimension is significant and lends significant credibility. The aromas are a classic black fruit melody of wild blackberry and blueberry. The flavors are deep with ample structure for term ageing. A very nicely defined Zinfandel with elegance and well proportioned lines in all the right places.

Our Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon represents our terroir driven philosophy at its finest. The CooneyVineyard is situated on the cusp of Alexander Valley and Chalk Hill, showcasing both appellations. Rains came during this vintage. However, we picked this fruit before the brix dropped. It is a luscious and very stylish Cabernet that greets you with a deep dark purple black intense color in the glass. Wonderful scents of sweet cedar framed with complex dark berry grab your attention, with a hint of anise and cocoa to follow on the palate. It is an elegantly crafted wine to be cellared for a few years.  

This wine captures one’s attention from the start. The wine has a beautiful deep black ruby color. On the nose are rich aromas of dark pitted and black fruit, cassis and cigar box. On the mouth, the flavors and mouth feel are truly dazzling. Rich velvety    texture and smooth tannins are highlighted by the great fruit flavors. This elegant wine is  beautifully balanced with great acidity, bright and intense fruits,  and juicy mouth textures. Yummy and elegant.

Earthy hints greet you at the first sip and then give way to a lush fruit sensation that waltzes over your palate. This seductively rich Merlot ends with a lengthy finish.
