2009 Proprietor's Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon - SOLD OUT

Deep with color hues of dense purple and black, our 2009 Proprietor’s Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is showy and sophisticated. In the nose are voluptuous aromas of dark black cherry framed with cedar, vanilla and hints of smoky anise. On the palate are enjoyable mouth filling flavors of black fruits, framed with balanced sweet oak and a wonderfully long and pleasant finish.
This wine was a club selection that beat out five other wines earlier this year and I wanted to celebrate my week's end with something special.
The first two sips confirmed my selection: rich and dense, the wine had great balance and nice oak heft blending into mellow fruits and secondary notes - something peppery, something earthy - but no vegetable taste, nothing green!
As I moved through the first glass into the next, the wine maintained its savory mouthfeel and I was wishing I had a few drinking companions along for the journey - for sure they would enjoy this wine!
And then I realized, I have the whole bottle to myself!
