This is the first in what will be a long line of offerings on the Tour de Dutcher Crossing. Modeled after the Tour de France, this series will consist of 22 different “stages” each featuring a unique wine. We feel the 2016 First Stage is a perfect way to stage this tour out. A gorgeous blend of Russian River Pinot Noirs, this wine shows the diversity of the AVA harmoniously blended in one glass. Bucher Vineyard lends ripe dark fruits and an earthiness to the blend, while the Maboroshi brings backbone, structure and spice which is all melded together by the pretty and elegant fruit and floral characteristics we receive from the Chenoweth Vineyard. Voilà! The race has begun.
