In the glass, lovely dark purple and red hues are nearly impenetrable to light. The nose continues down this same dark, fruit filled path. Notes of sweet cedar, black currants, black cherries, bakers chocolate, and spice open your senses to this complex wine. The first sip is an explosion of ripe red fruits, chocolate covered cherries, pepper and spice, accentuated by a lively acidity that lifts the palate and adds pop. A good amount of tannins contribute to both the power and longevity of this full-bodied hillside Cabernet.
